I don’t like the frames.
You need to frame it somehow. They sell frame kits on Best Buy’s website.

I was going to suggest using caulk, but this is probably a better option.
Maybe try some makeup and lashes.

Adjust the brackets so it sits out further. Then use the included trim ring or make something yourself.
You could always put the radio in a nicer car.

Hah
How about bedazzling the surround of the hole?

Yep, like bedazzling a butthole.
I can’t speak for this radio, but it looks like a generic China one. Those often have fitment issues. A name-brand double-DIN might give you a better fit.
What vehicle is that?

Good question. It looks like a 1950s aircraft.

1999 Saab 9-3

Haha, knew it was a 9-3. Maybe you can try mounting it slightly out so it’s kind of floating, and/or get some molding trim off eBay?
Is it too shallow on the mounting brackets?
Ah, another Saab owner. I spent a bunch of money on a kit for my 9-5, but it still doesn’t look great. We’re kind of doomed with weird-sized radio openings and tough installs. I got my kit from InCarTec in the UK. You might want to check their website and see if they have anything for you.
Better radio, better kit.
Maybe fasten your seat belts. Lol.
3D print a custom bezel. You can color match it to the car, the radio, or use a custom color. I made some speaker rings with PETG and they look and work great!
