Who Knows Details About 1994 4runner?

Hey yall I just bought a 1994 4runner and it had an old sub setup in it yet I can’t find any information on them anywhere. The subs are 2 Pioneer TS-W251F 300w max. If any of the old heads in here know anything about these please share I’m not very experienced with subwoofer specs and any information is very appreciated. Thanks.

It’s pretty simple if you hear the G’d up sound. When I smoke a pound, the Pioneer speakers start to bump.

Feels like the early 1990s. Important gear from the time.

IMPP, these are classics

It would say on the cone if they were IMPP. These are the old TS series that Walmart sold in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They’re not very impressive.

Things from another time… Ohh,

In June 1995, on a Saturday, mom turned on her MR2 because she needed to get papa cigarettes. We stopped at the pizza place where my dad worked to say hello to the family, and these bad mom jammas used to make me feel like I was in a music video :smirk:

In a 1996 Ford Ranger, I had a pair of these as my subwoofers. Great subs I put 250 watts rms on them all the time and never had any problems. They were used and had been owned by the same person for a few years. I think they were released around 1993.

Honest power rating for the sub too.

In the late 1990s, I used two of these in SQ car audio comps. 2x10" subs in small 1.5cuft boxes driven by a Phoenix gold M50 amp😎

I still have an old Virtual Technologies Riphammer 12" Sub from 2003, lol. I have beat this thing to hell and back, but it is still alive.

There is a Facebook group for people who still use VT casings and hammer subs.
