What’s the best 6.5 component speaker for $500?

You’ve got $500 just for the front stage… what are you getting? I’m looking at the APK Prima 165s or Focal ISU 165. Any other suggestions?

Stereo Integrity components are on sale right now for Black Friday until the end of the month. That’s what I would go with.

Yeah, their quality is top-notch.

I’d suggest looking at the Hertz CPK165 or the Helix Ci3 K165.2FM-S2. Both are solid options.

JL C3 650 would be my pick.

Just to add, I’m planning to use a DSP and run active, not passive.

Check out the Morel Tempo Ultra or Vitus 3-way if you want something high-end. The Morel Maximo is a decent entry-level option for around $150.

Why go for entry-level when the budget is $500? Go for something better.

Any thoughts on the APK Prima? I’m leaning towards them since I can’t find the Helix Ci3 in the US.

JL Audio all the way :muscle::fire:

+1 for the Stereo Integrity set. It’s one of my favorite setups for components.

You might want to consider the Infinity Kappa Perfects. They’re solid performers.
