Hey everyone, I’m new to this forum and need some help. I have a 12" 750w RMS Ground Zero subwoofer and a Ground Zero 1100w RMS amp. Recently, my subwoofer started making crackling noises like there was a loose connection, and after a few days, it just stopped working. There was no smoke or any blowout, it’s like I just unplugged it. I checked all the wires, fuses, everything seems fine. I have no experience with broken speakers, so I’m wondering if anyone here has any idea what might be going on. Thanks for any help!
Does the amp turn on? Is it in protection mode? Also, can you push the woofer in slightly by hand? Does it spring back when you let go?

The amp turns on, it’s not in protection, and the fuse is fine. The woofer does come back by itself when I push it.

Next, you’ll need a meter. Check for power between 12v+ and ground on the amp terminals. Then, check for power between the remote and ground on the amp. After that, set the meter to ohms and disconnect the speaker wire from the enclosure. Replace the removed speaker wires with the meter leads and let me know what it says.
