New subwoofer volume going up and down randomly

Today I put in these two American bass subs, a Pioneer amp, and a Kicker loc2. It sounds like waves are sending power to the sub. They only sound on certain notes, and the frequency doesn’t seem to affect whether it sounds on the note or not. There are times when they are very quiet and times when they are very loud. The wiring looks good, and the grounding points work with a multimeter because they are stock grounding points. Could someone tell me where to check next? I don’t know what to do. If that helps, that’s a 2019 Honda Accord. I already unplugged the part in front of the glove box that blocks out noise.

Just to be sure, try it on a few more songs. There are some songs with terrible bass that you can’t hear until you add a sub.

It sounds like a problem with the ANC. Did you unplug the right module? In some Hondas, you can skip it or remove it at the radio. Take out one of the wires that connects to the amp and see if that fixes it.

Sounds like you’re losing power. Running below 12.4

I had the same problem a few years ago. Make sure all of your wires on the amp and the sub box are tight.

Check the links again, even if you think or “feel” they are good. Something that kept going on and off made me think my amp was dying.

Bro, I wish I could get rid of the accord’s original bass roll-off. Please help if you know how to do this!"

Also, have you turned off PS yet by going to the secret menu?

If you used a stock deck, did you use both the right and left channels? This happened in my 2017 Accord when I only plugged into one of the back speakers.

It could be bad RCAs. When I did my first installation, I had this problem. It was engine noise getting into the RCAs, making it sound like the subs were going up and down. Getting good protected RCAs fixed my problem.

Where did you see that it’s not 1 ohm stable?
