That happened to a friend recently. He switched the back of the chair down, removed the outputs to tune with a DD1+, and it started smoking as soon as he moved the gain. Not sure if it was the head unit or the amp, but that amp brand isn’t very reliable. You probably can’t find them outside my country and maybe Italy.
