I’m frustrated that almost every Bluetooth adapter I’ve tried has a mic built into it. These mics are usually terrible, and in my case, the adapter is hidden away in a compartment, so no one can actually hear me.
What I want is to use my phone’s mic for calls while staying connected to my car’s speakers through the Bluetooth adapter. I think this would work if the adapter was designed for speakers only and didn’t have a mic at all.
You can go into your iPhone settings and disable hands-free calling (HFP) for your Bluetooth device. Just leave audio control (A2DP) enabled. That should fix your issue.
