I haven’t heard it yet. Just finished building the test box. I did some free air testing and it seems really quiet, no mechanical noise, and looks like it can play deep. I’m waiting for the glue and sealant to dry on the box, but for $500, it seems promising for my setup (SQ-focused with good output and low-end extension). I’ll report back once I’ve had a chance to test it more.
Picked up a Skar VXF-12D2 for under $250. I’m thinking of running it with the Taramp 3k smart amp. This will be my first time using both. I’ve always had JL and Alpine, so hopefully it goes well.
