I got the V2. Just finished installing it and tuning the amp today. Running it in a 0.85 cu ft net sealed box. From what I’ve heard, they aren’t much different. I think V2 has a slightly shallower mounting depth.

Glad to hear that! The Crutchfield rep I spoke with heard it firsthand and was really impressed too. Now I’m even more happy with my choice.

Got a Kenwood head unit, Focal speakers, Kenwood 901 amp, and a Kicker L7 12" square downfiring sub installed for my birthday/Christmas gift to myself in my 20-year-old Honda minivan. I’m so happy with it.

You should probably reconsider the placement inside your trunk. That setup might give you bad acoustics and poor overall sound quality.

That’s not the final spot! I was just testing it, planning to place it against the seats facing the trunk. Haha.

I hadn’t seen many reviews online or on YouTube, but the few people I’ve heard from say it’s a solid SQ sub with decent output. Looking forward to testing it out. Thanks!

How are Focal subs? I see their door speakers often, but not their subs.
