Looking for Budget-Friendly 12' Subwoofer and Amp Setup for a '17 Toyota Corolla ($1,500 Budget) … Any Ideas?

Not sure about SI stuff, but if you’re running under 2k RMS, stock should be okay. I prefer ported setups for more volume.

Yeah, my system is around $200 for the woofer … just amazing. The high-end SI subs go deep and sound great even at low power.

Have you considered the box size and mounting depth? Also, is your budget covering wires, alternator, and box-building?

Already ordered the alternator, so that budget’s mainly for the sub and amp.

@Nyx
Heard a lot of good things about Stereo Integrity SQL subs. I’d go with two of those and a Salt amp if I were in your shoes.

What about a JL W7 13.5? Could be worth checking out.

Biggest thing to know … what kind of music are you listening to mostly? Also, what do you expect out of this setup, and how’s the rest of your system?

Mostly hip-hop and trap, so I’m looking for that deep, punchy bass.
