So, I’m kinda new to this but here’s my situation. I just bought a 2016 Pilot and it came with this setup:
VX1-ST X2 and GTO-06 X4
There are some lines in the trunk like an amp or sub might have been there before (not sure, maybe both?).
I’m wondering what kind of amp would be a good fit for these speakers. I’m on a budget (150$-200$ max just for the amp) and I don’t need crazy loud music, I’m more focused on having good sound quality. Maybe I’ll add a subwoofer later.
After doing a bit of research, I thought about getting a 4-channel amp, bridging the 2 VX1-ST speakers on one channel, putting 2 pairs of GTO-06 on the other two channels, and using the last channel for a subwoofer.
But I’m not sure if I’m missing anything or if I could add something to improve the sound. Does this sound like a good plan to start with?
Any help would be awesome!
Edit: If it’s available on Amazon, that would be perfect. I’m not in the US/Canada/Europe, so a lot of online stores don’t ship here!

What are you talking about with the GTO-06? Those VX-1 speakers are super harsh on the ears, and bridging them will lose any left-to-right separation.
So you’re saying I should bridge them? Well, I would need to keep them separated, but… can I bridge the GTO-06 speakers? Will that cause any issues?
@Ashton
Ooof, so you’ve got bullet tweeters and coaxials? That’s gonna sound bad. Honestly, I’d suggest replacing both sets with a component set. It’ll give you a much more balanced sound.
