How do I go about wiring a sub without a way through the firewall

The 2008 Seat Ibiza I have is a bit of a project car. The only problem is that my power wire is too thick to get through the firewall.

Is there a way to power the sub other than the fuse box?

It’s a vibe 750watt sub.

Thanks a lot

Keep it rolled down and run it through the window. Very nice and stylish street market set-up :ok_hand:

Through the window? We run them right through the door crack here, so if you have those fat lines, your door will stay open.

Find a plastic plug that has the same ID number as your wire. Then, drill a hole in the mesh that is the right size.

Now is the time to use the drill.

The only way is through a firewall. Could you tell me more about your amp and wire kit?

Take a look at your question… You will not be able to connect to the fuseblock if your power wire is too thick. It probably doesn’t even have 4 awg. It looks like 8 or 6 people are feeding it.

The best thing you can do is drill a hole. To make it last, make sure you use a good seal. And make sure your route takes you away from places where your engine will get hot.

Take your car to a local audio shop and show them where and how you want it done. That’s how I did mine.

My 4 gauge OFC wire was run into the engine bay and into the car with a proper cover. A hole was made in the wall.

The price was $50, and I set up everything else after that.

It’s hard to say without being there, but behind the glovebox of many cars there are extra grommet pass throughs.

Does the sub alone make that noise, or do you have a sound amplifier? Where is the subwoofer? Is it in the trunk or under a seat?

Since the sub uses 63 amps and you need 4 meters of wire, an 8 gauge OFC wire should be enough.
