Don't laugh...my first box build

I have a double-cab Tundra, and there isn’t much room for a secret box under the seat. I changed the 10" VF10 from a sealed.55 box to this 1.2-port enclosure. It was built on an American Bass Hawk Slim 12". I had never built a box before and didn’t have the right tools. I just wanted a task. I built it with mostly hand and electric tools because I’m not connected to the power grid.

In the meantime, “don’t laugh” makes a cool-looking first box, while I’ve tried six times to cut wood straight and keep ending up with a square box lol.

This is great. I’ve tried some crazy builds, and some of them worked and some didn’t. I hope the work is worth it.

You should paint the pipes a shiny brass color and make that thing stand out like you’re driving around with a tuba lol.

Ok this is sweet. Gonna need a video when it’s all installed.

How does it sound when tuned? I think it looks pretty cool, and good job on making your first box so complex. It was a square for me.

Was the drain pipe chosen over schedule 40 for a reason?

I don’t know if the smaller wall would make a difference in this case. It would be nice to know

It was not a specific choice, it was the only thing lowes would ship, could NOT find 6" anywhere in store. The green sewer pipe is thick and rigid and much more stout than I thought it would be.

I built it to 28hz, but it ended up at 27 with the port length. It’s ugly, but UNREAL low
