Amp question for my car speakers... any advice?

I had a similar setup and ran into power issues. If you’re not planning to upgrade your alternator, be careful not to push it too hard.

I’ve already bought everything. Can I just turn the amp down to avoid problems?

Yeah, you can turn it down, but you might not see much improvement. I had a similar issue when I upgraded, and turning it down didn’t make it much louder than my old setup.

The power wire you’re using is probably too small for 2000 watts, but since the amp is over-rated, you’ll likely be fine. Just keep the car running when you’re listening to music.
