1997 Nissan bluebird legrand CD changer control

I need to know where to store the CDs in my 1997 Nissan Bluebird Legrand, which has a CD changer control but no CD slots. I need to know whether any CD changer will work with this system

It could be a CD changer in the trunk; my Civic had one installed and linked to the original head unit when I got it, but if yours isn’t there, someone may have taken it out.

Certainly not a game-changer. Exactly one. With the correct adaptor, an aftermarket one may sometimes function, but you’d be lucky to locate one these days. You could have had some luck finding one 20 years ago.

Is your owner’s handbook a good resource for learning how to stack CDs in your CD changer? Does the dash unit stack the CDs once you put them all into the designated slot? After that, all you have to do is use the head unit to choose the amount of CDs you wish to play.

Based on this image, it seems like Nissan installed CD changers in the most awkward manner imaginable. You would have seen it in the trunk if that were the case.

If your device is equipped with a CD changer, it is capable of controlling it, as stated as “CD Changer Control”. If you can’t locate it, it seems like yours doesn’t have one. Usually you can find them in the glovebox, beneath the front seats, in the center console, or the trunk/boot, but I don’t know where it is on this particular vehicle.

You shouldn’t have any problems connecting it if you can get the right Nissan CD changer. You should probably check that the wiring is already in place and find a place to get the cable since I wouldn’t take it as a given.

I would press the open button where it says cd changer control and see if that opens up. It looks like it might open.

What happens when you press the open button?

uh, isn’t that the changer right there in the dash? The part that says “open”
